Want to do something with videos from YouTube? Do you need a better way to create videos that support your business goals? Here is what Ben Givon has to say in regard to it.
You’ll discover a four-block framework to quickly edit and produce quality video every time, and find recommendations for affordable tools to get you started.
If you don’t have the gear or technology to get started with your computer, you can’t record videos. Don’t think the camera on your phone is inferior technology; the cameras on your phones are fantastic. Switch the phone horizontally, and on many social media sites, you unlock features that haven’t been available before.
According to Ben Givon in addition to a camera, to start making videos, you just need to add a couple of other items: lighting and a mic. For the mic, a simple lapel microphone that plugs into your phone (or camera) and clips to your collar is recommended.

A Four-Part Framework:
The framework breaks the process of recording your videos into four segments that allow you to edit quickly and produce a quality video. Here are the steps Ben Givon recommends taking:
1.Opening With the Hook
Create a hook in the first 5-8 seconds of your video that lets viewers know they’re in the right place and gives them a compelling reason to stay by telling them what you’re going to show or share.
Assume the audience doesn’t care about who you are or what you do, and realize that they care about whether you can help them solve their dilemma. That is the only thing that needs to be communicated. Ben Givon points out that since you literally have seconds to catch somebody ‘s attention, try scripting this out.
Emotion is part of YouTube’s vocabulary, so remember to deliver the hook with intense enthusiasm. If you’re worried about coming across as over the top, the camera zaps 10 percent – 20 percent of your on-screen energy. Lean into the enthusiasm and realize that you’ll feel silly while recording your video. You should taper the emotion off after you deliver your hook.
